A British delegation led Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff Jeff Mason visits Ashgabat.

The Exhibition Centre in Ashgabat hosts the Turkmengurlusyk-2009 Exposition dedicated to the achievements and further development of one of the priority sectors of Turkmen economy. The organizers of the forum are the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Construction Material Industry of Turkmenistan, Turkmenawtoyollary State Concern and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen leader also said that he was happy to welcome the leader of Kazakhstan as an honorary guest to the ceremony that would take place upon finishing the Silk Road-200 Rally that would cross the territories of three countries and become a symbol of unshakable friendship among the peoples of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Russia. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov informed that this ceremony would take place in Balkan Velayat in the first half of September.

Turkmenistan will take part in the XI Russian agricultural exhibition "Golden Fall - 2009" to be held October 9-12 in Moscow. The country's Chamber of Industry and Commerce will deal with preparation of the exposition together with the Food Industry Association and State Committee for Fisheries.
