During the regular, third meeting the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan debated a number of the important draft laws and legislative acts drafted in the framework of the complex programme of further updating the national legislation in compliance with the priorities of the current national policy. The documents aimed at regulating further development of the country in the strategic fields such as education, science, entrepreneurship, ecology and improvement of the judicial system and activity of prosecutor’s offices were put on the agenda. For the importance of the draft laws the high-ranking officials of the relevant ministries and departments, law enforcement officers, members of the public organisations and journalists were invited to the meeting.

The report of the IMF representatives group that had earlier visited Turkmenistan was approved at the meeting of the International Monetary Fund Executive Directors Board. Vice-premier Tuvakmammet Japarov reported about it during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, August 14.

Three new Boeing aircrafts will replenish the fleet of Turkmenhowayollary State National Service in late August-early September. In accordance with the recent Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan the contract for the purchase of three aircrafts Boeing-737-700 was concluded with the Boeing Company (USA).

Day after day, week after week Turkmenistan continues to advance along the path of progress and constructive endeavours. The events on this path are multiplied adding the real achievements in the political and economic, cultural and spiritual spheres to the history of the country. The last week that became a part of the modern period we call the epoch of new revival of the nation was not an exception.
