The ministry of motor transportation of Turkmenistan is to sign a big contract for the purchase of one thousand Russian PAZ-32054 buses and spare parts for them and consumables.

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution to this effect yesterday "with the aim of improving passenger transportation in rural areas and enhancing quality of services offered to citizens," the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.

PAZ-32054 buses are produced by the Pavlovsk Bus Plant. It is a two-door version of PAZ-32053 buses. This is a simple and easy-to-service bus which is widely used in Russia on city and municipal routes.
