The Uralmash machine engineering corporation (Russia) will supply basic units for nine drilling rigs in Turkmenistan. The contract exceeding 500 million Russian rubles was signed by Turkmengas state corporation and Uralmash.

According to Uralmash press center, the first shipment of equipment will arrive in Turkmenistan in the first quarter of 2009. The supply of equipment will be completed by the end of next year. New equipment will be put into operation by Russian specialists. It will be manufactured by Uralmash branches in Yekaterinburg and Orsk. Turkmenistan will receive drill pumps, hoists, rotors, hook-blocks, diesel aggregates and other supplement equipment.
