Chairman of Turkmenistan's union of manufacturers and entrepreneurs shows Turkmen president over his private farm The chairman of the Union of Entrepreneurs and Manufacturers of Turkmenistan, Alexander Dadayev, showed Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov over his private poultry farm.
The head of state together with deputy prime ministers Myratgeldi Akmammedov and Hojamuhammet Muhammedov and governor of Ahal province Mammetniyaz Nurmammedov viewed the farm during a working visit to Baharly district on 16 September, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the industrial-technological process of the farm with the capacity of 3 thousand tonnes of chicken meat a year. He also visited one of poultry yards. After viewings, the president said "modern farms will be also built in other regions of the country in the near future."
It should be recalled that in June 2007 the head of state signed a decree with the aim of providing comprehensive assistance to this farm. 30 hectares of land were allocated for construction of a new poultry farm near Ashgabat. A bank credit was given to the farm owners on very soft terms. The farm was also given 2 thousand hectares of land in Ahal province and Dashoguz province to grow fodder. The farm was exempted from the custom tax until the completion of construction as well as from the tax on profit from sale of poultry meat and meat products until 2010.
