Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sailed in the Caspian Sea on 29 September in the company of participants of the outdoor government meeting on board the first pleasure yacht called Galkynysh that arrived in the seaside area within the framework of the Avaza national tourist zone project.

The modern yacht was built in Italy at the shipyard of one of the largest shipbuilding companies. This is the first sea yacht to sail in the Caspian Sea under the Turkmen flag.

"This liner is the first signs to be followed by other first class ships," Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said. The president noted that in the near future "pleasure yachts for sea cruises will be available in local ports."
