Some structural subdivisions of the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan lack proper level of organization of work, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said at a government meeting on 10 November.

According to the president, "there were reported numerous shortcomings in work of gasoline stations," the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat. Vice prime minister Tachberdi Tagiyev was instructed to take necessary actions to install order at the gasoline stations and ensure proper work of all organizations of the sector as a whole until the end of this year.

Similar criticism was leveled to the ministry of railways of Turkmenistan, including late delivery of fuel and lubricants. The head of this ministry, Deryaguly Mukhammetgulyev, was given a last warning.
