Turkmenistan will commission Turkish company Pilimeks and Lebanese Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) to construct the Olympic city in Ashgabat. Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov issues instructions to this effect at a meeting with Polimeks's head Erol Tabanja on 25 November.

It should be recalled that the Olympic city project was officially presented in Ashgabat this October. The architectural-sport construction will boast multipurpose sports facilities, training halls and grounds for Olympic sports, residences for sportsmen, hotels for guests and social-cultural facilities. The existing Olympic stadium will be part of the city.

In the course of the meeting Erol Tabanja offered to develop Bitarap Turkmenistan and Galkynysh streets of Ashgabat and briefed the president of Turkmenistan on the pace of construction of a civilian registry office in Ashgabat.
