Turkmenistan to purchase two MI 17-1B helicopters in Tatarstan

Under a resolution signed by the president of Turkmenistan, Turkmenhovayollary national air service is authorized to sign a contract with the Kazan Helicopter Plant of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation for the purchase of two MI 17-IB helicopters, spare parts and consumables.

The total cost of the contract exceeds US $ 22,8 million, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat quoting the press service of the head of state.
