The Turkmengas state concern will sign a contract with Russian OOO MRK Engineering for the design and construction of a gas pipeline from Central Karakum desert to Yylanly gas compressor station. Under the contract, the Turkmengas will pay US $ 176,585,560,15 (VAT included) from its own funds.

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree to this effect at a government meeting on 20 February.

In accordance with another decree by the head of state, the ministry of trade and foreign economic relations of Turkmenistan will sign a contract with KAMAZ FTC Corp for the purchase of 1040 KAMAZ vehicles and special equipment worth US $ 99,819,987. They will be distributed among regional administrations and the capital city, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat quoting the press service of the head of state.
