Greeting the guest Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan was always open for mutually advantageous cooperation on an equal basis and stand ready to establish an active dialogue with all interested partners including the American companies, which expressed willingness to establish full-scale fuel and energy cooperation with Turkmenistan in compliance with the current legislation and statutory acts.

In turn, Mr. Jay Pryor noted that his company was interested in establishing long-term cooperation with Turkmenistan and stood ready to collaborate in the investment gas projects. Mr. Jay Pryor briefed the Turkmen leader on the projections of the company, which had opened its representative office in Ashgabat.

The sides highly evaluated the high level of mutual understanding as well as readiness to start fruitful business partnership in implementing the concrete fuel and energy projects in Turkmenistan. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on Turkmenistan’s interest in attracting Chevron’s expertise and technologies to develop offshore deposits in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, in oil processing industry and to train highly professional local personnel.

Thanking Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the opportunity to discuss the aspects of cooperation Mr. Jay Pryor assured the Turkmen leader that the Chevron Company would spare no effort to establish long-term mutually advantageous partnership with Turkmenistan that had earned the reputation of a dependable partner among the international business community.
