President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a welcome message to participants of the exhibition and congress. He stressed that Turkmenistan with its enormous energy potential is open for fruitful international cooperation.

The President expressed hope that the International Gas Congress "will have a positive impact on the further intensification of the work to diversify the routes of stable, reliable and long-term transit of energy resources to the world markets, making new international contracts in this area, ensuring mutually beneficial use of fuel and raw materials for their exporters and consumers."
