Regional hospital opens in Serdar city after major reconstruction The main building of the regional hospital was reopened after major reconstruction in Serdar city of Balkan province on July 18. The reconstruction was carried out by German Inkas Baugesellschaft mbH company on the order of the Balkan province administration.
The project has been implemented at the expense of charity funds totaling US $ 2 million granted by the Sheikh of Bahrain, Rashid Bin Isa Al Khalifa, as a sign of inviolable friendly relations with Turkmenistan.
German Siemens company supplied equipment for the hospital under the contract worth US $ 800 thousand signed by the ministry of healthcare and medical industry of Turkmenistan.
The obsolete building of the hospital was completely renewed in accordance with the norms of the World Health Organization, the Turkmen State News Agency (TDH) said.
