The financial-industrial group "Altcom" (Donetsk, Ukraine) will begin construction of a road bridge, Atamurat-Kerkichi, across the Amu Darya river in Turkmenistan before April of this year. This was reported by the company's deputy general director Mikhail Kovalev in an interview with the internet portal "Trans-Port."

A number of major foreign companies expressed their desire to participate in the reconstruction and technical modernization of the international sea port of Turkmenbashi, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) said. Various versions of reconstruction projects of the major "sea gate" of Turkmenistan developed by potential foreign partners were presented to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on October 30 as part of his working visit to Balkan province.

A powerful commercial inflow of natural gas was obtained by oilmen of the Ahalnebitgazgozleg department of Turkmengeologiya State Corporation at a new promising field called Geyazli located 30 kilometers southeast of the village Erbent in Akhal province. The productive layer of hydrocarbons was hit at the depth of 2600-2620 m. According to preliminary estimates, the daily production rate of the gas well reaches 500 thousand cubic meters of gas and 33 cubic meters of gas condensate.

On October 27, the super-modern tanker "Khazar moored at the seaport city of Turkmenbashi. The tanker has joined the merchant fleet of Turkmenistan, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) said.
