Merchant fleet of Turkmenistan gets "Khazar" tanker built in Nizhny Novgorod

The sea-river vessel with the capacity of 7 thousand tons, designed for transportation of oil and petroleum products, was built at the shipyards of one of the oldest and largest shipbuilding companies of Russia - "Red Sormovo" (Nizhny Novgorod). The project for construction of two tankers was financed through a credit allocated by the Islamic Development Bank. It should be recalled that the first of the two tankers, "Sumbar", arrived in the port city on the Caspian Sea 2 months ago.

Both vessels are fitted with the latest devices and equipment that comply with environmental safety. Vessels can simultaneously carry six kinds of petroleum products.
