Prime Minister of Malaysia Abdullah Ahmed Badawi attends Avaza National Project presentation Prime Minister of Malaysia Abdullah Ahmed Badawi who was on the official visit to Turkmenistan attended the presentation of the Avaza National Project in the conference hall of the President Hotel in Ashgabat. The high-ranking officials of the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan and the specialists of Malaysian Petronas Charigali gathered there on that occasion.
The Prime Minister and the members of the Malaysian government delegation showed keen interest in the project activities on construction of social, cultural and sports facilities and establishment of the transportation and communication infrastructure in the national tourism zone on the Caspian Sea coast. The plans on development of the future seaside resort and the system of advantages for foreign investors were of particular interest to the guests that was quite natural: the opportunities for developing mutually advantageous co-operation in tourism industry were a focus of the recent talks of the President of Turkmenistan and the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Thanking the Turkmen partners for the detailed information Mr. Abdullah Ahmed Badawi expressed belief that the project on creation of the international tourism zone on the Caspian Sea coast would be successfully implemented.
In conclusion the Prime Minister of Malaysia reaffirmed Malaysia’s willingness to offer its expertise and technologies in tourism industry which had the vast opportunities to develop in Turkmenistan.
