An official ceremony was held in two border provinces of neighboring Afghanistan to lay the foundation for a hospital and a school to be built by Turkmenistan as a gift to the people of this country. A governmental delegation of Turkmenistan arrived there to attend the ceremony.

A hospital will be built in Garamgol district of Faryap province of Afghanistan, and a modern school for 400 pupils will be built in Hazara Tokay village of Shordepe district of Balkh province of Afghanistan, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports.

The official ceremony was attended by representatives of Turkmenistan, the UN mission for Afghanistan, members of the Afghanistan government, local authorities, parliament members and mass media as well as representatives of big Turkmen diaspora living in the neighboring provinces of Afghanistan.
