On 30 March, Ambassador of Republic of Lebanon to Turkmenistan Jebrail Butros Jeara presented credential to Akja Nurberdiyeva, the chairperson of the parliament of Turkmenistan. During the meeting the sides noted "the importance of the inter-parliamentary relations and intensification of the inter-state dialogue meeting interests of the peoples of Turkmenistan and Lebanon."

On 31 March, Ambassador of Republic of Bulgaria Plamen Grozdanvo presented credentials to Akja Nurberdiyeva. The sides discussed the pace of implementation of agreements reached by the leaders of the two countries during the official visit of Bulgarian President Georgiy Pyrvanov to Turkmenistan last year.
