According to his report, the Trans-Asian gas pipeline is successfully reaching its projected capacity in accordance with the technical schedule, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) said.

It is expected that the pipeline, which is meant to supply up to 40 billion cubic meters of Turkmen natural gas to China annually for 30 years, will reach its full capacity by 2012.
