Bulgarian President Georgi Purvanov will arrive in Ashgabat on an official visit on 18 December. During the forthcoming high-level talks, the sides plan to discuss a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as some aspects of international politics of mutual interest, the Turkmen government's press service reports.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a meeting focused on the further development of the agricultural sector. Vice Premier M. Akmammedov, velayat khyakims, high-ranking agricultural officials, heads of the national departments and ministries participated in the meeting.

The election of deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fourth convocation ended at 2118 polling stations at 1800. 93,87% of all registered voters cast their ballots by the closing time, the Central Election Commission of Turkmenistan said.
