President of Turkmenistan receives Sheikh of the Kingdom of Bahrain

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received a member of the royal family of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the son of the eldest brother of the King of Bahrain Sheikh Faisala bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Cordially greeting and thanking the Turkmen leader for the opportunity of personal meeting the guest conveyed the heartfelt greetings of the members of the royal family to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

During the conversation the sides expressed deep satisfaction at the high level of the intergovernmental dialogue between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain and noted that it was built on the ties of friendship and spiritual kinship between the two fraternal nations. The sides exchanged views on the important aspects of further co-operation, the opportunities to make it more dynamic and fruitful. The guest said that the progressive reforms implemented in Turkmenistan at the new stage of national development were of particular interest to Bahrain that was proud of the Turkmen brothers’ accomplishments.

Touching upon the vast opportunities of mutually advantageous partnership Sheikh Faisala bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa emphasized that the Arab business circles highly appreciated the potential of co-operation with Turkmenistan and stood ready to establish closer collaboration in the large-scale national projects, particularly through making investments.

Berdimuhamedov expressed special gratitude to the leadership of the friendly country for contributing to the grandiose activities aimed at fundamentally changing the life of the Turkmen people. The Turkmen leader mentioned the project on reconstruction of the hospital in Serdar Etrap on the charitable endowment made by Sheikh Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa as an example of successful collaboration.

Sheikh Faisala bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa asked to accept the contribution of US$ I million to strengthening the material and technical base of this clinic as a token of friendship and profound respect to Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people.

In conclusion Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov asked the guest to convey the wishes of wellbeing and prosperity to the King of Bahrain and his brother. Upon concluding the meeting the head of the Turkmen state and his guest focused on the stability of the traditionally friendly ties between the two countries.
