Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invites Islam Karimov to visit Turkmenistan

As the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports quoting the press service of the Turkmen leader, the sides discussed the priority issues of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation in trade, economic, humanitarian and cultural spheres.

Presidents of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan also exchanged views on current issues of regional and international politics. On this occasion, the sides congratulated each other and the two nations on the upcoming holiday of Kurban Bayram.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited Islam Karimov to visit Turkmenistan at any convenient time. The invitation was accepted with gratitude. The dates of the visit will be arranged through the diplomatic channels, the press service said.
