Three new schools and a new physical and mathematical department of the Turkmen Makhtumkuli State University were inaugurated in Ashgabat on the first day of the new academic year. New facilities were built by Turkish companies Polimeks and Bashyazyjyoglu Inshaat and French Bouygues company.

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the inauguration of the new department of the state university and two new schools in Ashgabat, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat. The president of Turkmenistan also observed the inauguration of a school in the village of Kipchak via satellite communication which is now available in all computer classes of new schools.

Deputy prime minister of Turkmenistan also attended the inauguration ceremonies on the occasion of Day of Knowledge and Students. They also visited a number of higher educational establishments of Ashgabat.
