MTS holds "mobile literacy" class in Turkmen-Russian school in Ashgabat

MTS-Turkmenistan company has held a mobile literacy class for senior pupils of the Pushkin Turkmen-Russian secondary school in Ashgabat.

Specialists of MTS company employed friendly language to tell senior pupils about history of mobile communication, first mobile phones and their advantages. Particular attention was paid to the rules of mobile phone use in education establishments that maintain certain policies restricting mobile phone use. One of the hot topics was mobile etiquette which aroused great interest amongst pupils, the company said in a press release.

It should be recalled that Russian Moblie TeleSystems company connected twenty Turkmenistan's schools to Internet this year and provided assistance in sending twenty Turkmen students to St Petersburg's Bonch Brunevich Telecommunications University.

As of today, the number of MTS subscribers in Turkmenistan has exceeded 800 thousand people.
