Summer season starts for children's health resorts near Ashgabat

New children's health centers, which were built in the resort place of Gekdere some 30 km from Ashgabat, will receive the first groups of children today. This summer, 6 children's health centers will receive over 7 thousand schoolchildren aged from 7 to 14 from every corner of Turkmenistan. Inmates of the Orphanage House named after UAE President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayan will be among the first visitors, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.

The new modern health centers have all necessary conditions for comprehensive rest and health-benefiting children's activities. There are cozy bedrooms and spacious refectories, aqua-parks and swimming pools, sport and play grounds, tennis courts, as well as libraries, computer classes with Internet access, cultural centers and video rooms for children. Turkmen schoolchildren can also take their parents with them to Geokdere. Parents are provided with special cottages built for this purpose.
