Famous archaeologist Victor Sarianidi will hold a press conference on 2 July in the Moscow House of Nationalities on the unique discoveries made by the joint Turkmen-Russian expedition under his leadership during the spring season of excavations in the ancient country of Margush.

The Doctor of Historical Sciences, Academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, laureate of the International Prize of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli, honorary citizen of Turkmenistan, Professor Victor Sarianidi handed more than 50 new archaeological finds to the museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan. The finds were made during the spring season of excavations in the ancient country of Margush by the joint Turkmen-Russian expedition under his leadership.

The economic forum held in the framework of the Major Trends in Development of Turkmenistan’s Textile Industry International Exhibition brought together the leading Turkmen and foreign specialists, scientists, businessmen and private producers from the Republic of Korea, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey, Russia and other countries in the conference hall of the Exhibition Center in Ashgabat.

The Obraztsov State Academic Puppet Theatre performed in Ashgabat on 9 April as part of the days of Russian culture in Turkmenistan. The theatre brought "Best of Obraztsov" show in Turkmenistan.
