The economic forum held in the framework of the Major Trends in Development of Turkmenistan’s Textile Industry International Exhibition brought together the leading Turkmen and foreign specialists, scientists, businessmen and private producers from the Republic of Korea, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey, Russia and other countries in the conference hall of the Exhibition Center in Ashgabat.

The Obraztsov State Academic Puppet Theatre performed in Ashgabat on 9 April as part of the days of Russian culture in Turkmenistan. The theatre brought "Best of Obraztsov" show in Turkmenistan.

New modern sport complexes each worth US $ 20 million were inaugurated in Lebap and Mary provinces of Turkmenistan on 5 April. The projects were implemented by Russian Itera Development Group and Turkish Klych Inshaat company as well as Turkmen contractors, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.
