Seventh children's health center inaugurated in Geokdere

A new children's health center called Nebitchi was inaugurated in Geokdere place, 30 km from Ashgabat, on June 9. Let us recall that there have been built 6 modern children's health centers in recent years in Geokdere. Two more similar centers are going to be built in Geoktepe in the future.

The construction of the children's health center exceeding US $ 16 million was ordered by the Turkmenneft state concern. It can accommodate 550 people per shift. The children's health center has been built by Turkish company Bashyazyjyoglu. The health center consists of two 3-storey bedroom buildings, a play ground, a swimming pool, aqua-parks, a summer theatre and a cultural center. There is also a 2-storey hotel for parents.

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and members of the Turkmen government attended the inauguration ceremony. The high guests participated in a festive show prepared by young campers.

As part of the ceremony, the head of state spoke about plans to hold jointly with UNICEF an international festival of young talents titled "Golden Generation of the Golden Age" at the children's center this summer. "As time goes by, children's health centers in Geokdere will turn into a place where gifted children from all over the planet will take a rest, meet each other and make friendship," Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.

The president of Turkmenistan also issued instructions to open a direct regular bus communication from Ashgabat to Geokdere along Ashgabat's ring road.
